Major Activities and events Lot 1
LOT 1 Construction of new 400kV single circuit OHTL SS Kragujevac 2 – SS Kraljevo 3
- FAT for U 160 BS Insulators was performed on 07.01.2021 in Spain without any representatives of the Project participants due to Covid-19 pandemic. FAT was recorded in detail in form of photos and video material and Report submitted for review and approval.
- Monthly Meeting (no. 12) was held on 14.01.2021, with goal to discuss progress made in December. Main topics during the meeting were as follows:
- Contractor’s Monthly Progress Report,
- Progress of works – documentation and testing (Time Schedule, recoupment of delays, value of the subcontracted works, reports on testing the concrete cubes, load testing of towers, manufacturer of ACS conductor and cash flow),
- Progress of works – site works (surface for examination for Unexploded objects, tower location no. 166 (underground stream issue),
- Other issues.
- On 13-14.01.2021 Tower Load test for Nj tower type was successfully performed in the testing station in Romania (Electromontaj), in presence of the representatives of the Contractor and Employer’s Design engineer while live stream was enabled for other interested parties, which was followed by the Consultant’s civil expert. On 24.02, complete Tower Load testing Report for Nj tower type was submitted.
- Monthly Meeting (no. 13) was held on 05.02.2021, with the goal to discuss progress made in January 2021. Main topics of the meeting were as follows:
- Contractor’s Monthly Progress Report,
- Time Schedule and delays,
- Progress of works – documentation (Tower load testing, quality of concrete works, etc.),
- Progress of works – site activities (Access roads, tower locations no. 78 and 166),
- Other issues (Manufacturer of ACS conductor).
- Representatives of the Consultant made four targeted Inspection visits to Construction site (besides regular presence on site). Three visits were made on 04.02.2021, 26.02.2021. and 31.03.2021. by the Consultant’s H&S expert and one visit on 12.02.2021 by the geodetic engineer in order to perform inspection of geodetic works (stubs levelling) and checking of results presented in Contractor’s protocols on stubs levelling.
- Three additional detailed Site visits, besides regular presence, were performed by electrical and civil engineers of the Consultant.
- Technical Meeting (no. 14) was held on 04.03.2021 with goal to discuss problems on foundations and those related to steel structure elements at particular tower locations, as well as production and delivery of UZ 0-30 and UZ 30-60 towers.
- Monthly Meeting (no. 15) was held on 08.03.2021. Main topics discussed during the meeting were as follows:
- Contractor’s Monthly Progress Report,
- Time Schedule and delays,
- Health & Safety issues,
- Progress of works – documentation (Tower load testing, quality of concrete works, delivery of UZ30 and UZ60 towers, etc.),
- Progress of works – site activities (Access roads, quality of works, etc.),
- Other issues (Organization Chart).
- Another Technical Meeting (no. 16) was held on 23.03.2021 with the goal to discuss previously encountered and some additional issues with foundations and steel structure at particular tower locations, as well as production and delivery of type UZ 0-30 and type UZ 30-60 towers.
- Tower Load testing of UZ 0-15 tower type was successfully performed in period 29-31.03.2021. in the testing station Electromontaj in Romania. Design Engineer and the Contractor were present during the testing, while other interested parties were able to follow the testing via Skype, including the Consultant’s civil expert.
