ESIA Report N.3 regarding Construction of 400kV transmission line SS Kragujevac 2 – SS Kraljevo 3

On 14th of September 2021 the ESIA engaged expert has performed third site visit and inspection. Throughout the site visit the HSE managers for LOT 1 and for LOT 2 were present, providing all needed professional and logistic support.

In accordance with the status of the Project, it should be pointed out that the planned activities are carried out in compliance with given mitigation measures. Some of the good practices that has been implemented on site: in order to preserve the location of grey heron, construction works has not been performed during nesting period (1st March 31st of July).

At the regular meeting of contractors’ representatives at Ravni gaj representatives for Health and Safety were presented and attention has been paid to the issue of environmental protection within construction sites, the need for regular monitoring of construction sites in order to prevent environmental degradation (regular management of waste, procedures regrading nesting birds, potential bat activity, etc.). It has been concluded that continuous efforts has to be kept up in order providing community and workers safe conditions and limit environmental degradation of the construction sites.
